Whitewell is deceptively spacious and beautifully furnished in a contemporary style to a very high standard to provide modern quality accommodation. Tucked away down a quiet lane which leads to St Nons Bay and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, just off the centre of St Davids.
The wonderful fully fitted kitchen leads to a spacious dining area, with granite topped table and bar stools, enjoy family meals here, the French doors open to a paved patio which enjoys lovely rural views. There is a further patio door off the lounge giving plenty of space to enjoy an alfresco meal within the large, mature lawned garden, while the three bedrooms all make delightful retreats. A few minutes’ walk takes you into the heart of this popular tiny city with its glorious Cathedral and Bishops Palace, enjoy wandering around its excellent selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and galleries, all on your doorstep. Or take to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to really explore this stunning coastline. Whitesands Beach, officially one of the best beaches in the world, is a short drive away, perfect for families with its mile of glorious sand, it is popular with surfers both beginners and professionals alike. Take a boat trip from St Justinian's around the islands to really see this coastline or stop at Ramsey Island to enjoy the varied bird and wildlife, especially the seal pups in the autumn.

The bungalow is approached via an A-road. The first half of the road is a normal dual track road but the second half is a single track with passing places. The property is accessed by a gravelled drive leading up to ample parking spaces (3 spaces). There is space to drop off guests by paths to the front and back doors. There is one small step (4") from the gravel drive to the paved path which leads to the front door. The path is 4 feet wide and has a slight incline. There is a minimum of two small steps to enter the property but once inside there are no steps to get from room to room. There is a step into each shower. The main entrance door is reached by a 5" step followed by a porch area 2'10" wide and then a 6" step into the house. The rear door into the utility room can be accessed along a flat path. Halfway along the path is a 6" step. There is then an 8" step into the property. The rear path is 3'6" wide (minimum). Alternative entrances are 2 x 5' patio doors (with one 8" step) plus a second back door with a 4" step. The showers have wide entrances (2'). One shower has an 11" step into it and the other has a 6" step into it. The corridor to two of the bedrooms narrows to a width of 2'5". The sitting room/dining room and kitchen are well lit with natural and artificial light. The property is carpeted throughout except for the kitchen, dining room, utility, bathroom and ensuite which are tiled. The TV/teletext is operated by remote control. The garden extends to nearly half an acre. It is mainly lawned with a slight incline. There is a level patio area at the front which is accessed through the patio doors. Both patio doors have an 8" step. The rear garden is accessed by 4 x 7" steps plus the step to get out of the house. The garden steps have a handrail to the right hand side. The front garden is accessed by two steps outside the front door or one step through the patio doors. All doors are at least normal width (i.e. 30"). There is external lighting around the property. Guide dogs are welcome. Public transport is half a mile away. Pavements range in the area from non-existent to very good. There is no landline installed. Reception on mobiles is dependent on which network is used. WiFi is available.
Cannot believe how lucky we are every time we stay at Whitewell. We have been able to sit on the patio every day for an hour or two and been able to visit our usual favourite places. This is certainly a magical place for us, and look forward to our visits every year.
Another great week at whitesands and the weather far better than predicted. On arrival it was strange that Blue our Staffie did not make his usual Search of the property. However , We have great memories of holidays at whitewell with him. Looking forward to spending Xmas at Whitewell 2015

Walk to Porth Clais over the cliffs and Stackpole head, further south were the highlights. The 6 mile round trip from Aberieddy to Porthgain ( for cream tea and lunch at the Shed,) was spectacular. If its body boarding you are into its Newgale and Whitesands beaches - all brilliant no matter the weather, Miranda age 45.
Wonderful holiday house with fab destinations to visit especially enjoyed St David's Cathedaral and bishops palace. Even though the weather was not the best, we still got to wealk over the cliffs of lovely Pembrokeshire. A long with all the beautiful accessible beaches that were perfect for body boarding. the house space is perfect for family's and has just the right amount of space. Love the FRIDGE!! Definitely come again and will recommend thank you so much!! age 14 years.
Tremendous base for a big family reunion in St David's. The Lovely, well serviced bedrooms and big living space enabled us to all have space to stretch out and relax. The walk up to St Nons & beyond to Porthclais is stunning.
Another lovely stay, such beautiful weather this week. love staying at this wonderful bungerlow, so peaceful. Enjoyed long coastal walks and meals at the Sloop inn, The Grove, the Bishops etc. I'm sure we will be back again.

Our 6th annual visit, and the best weather we have ever had! The property is great , very comfortable, excellent facilities and spotlessly clean .We look forward to broadband as we don't get any reception with o2 mobiles, looking forward now to next year.

Our third visit to this spacious and comfortable bungalow, ideally placed in St David's. Good weather has meant we have been able to enjoy meals on the patio and admire the orchids in the adjoining field. Can recommend the Sloop at porthgain and Cwtch in St David's for eating out.
An Absolutely lovely bungalow, loads of space and equipped with everything we needed. The outdoor space is fantastic and the patio a real suntrap. Its a beautiful spot and convenient for St David's and the coastal path, we enjoyed walks to Porthclais, Whitesands and Caerfai. The farmers pub is a great spot to enjoy some relaxed food in the sun, Thank you!
An absolutely fantastic bungalow that was beyond our expectations in every way. A great base for everything that St David's and Pembrokeshire has to offer. Loved the lawns, patio, showers and fridge and Whitesands was a great day out. Would love to come back , Thank you!

Thank you for a lovely stay. The accommodation was fantastic and we loved the fact that it was a short walk to St David's but also easy access to the coastal path, We will be back. Went to Cwtch Restaurant, which was good, plus sloop inn at Porthgain. Loved The view from the top of Strumble head . Our one suggestion for the property.. a music player with I pod dock. Great weather great week, great accommodation!

In Spite of variable weather we have had a most enjoyable holiday.the accommodation provided at whitewells is quite outstanding and we have no adverse comments to make many thanks for maintaining excellant standards which we are sure will be difficult to match. We have thoughly enjoyed our visits and walks and would recommend solva/ Porthclais.

Whenever you take a break you hope that the accommodation is going to be as good as home – if not better. This can be said for Whitewell. Beautifully equipped and comfortable. Perfectly located within a short stroll to coastal walks. With still so much to see and do here, a return is a must. It has been so lovely.

Great holiday and we even saw the sun for 3 full days. The Farmers Arms is great for food and family friendly. Great cottage and a lovely stop so close to the top of the town and coastal path.
